Wayne fronts the band, singing most of the vocals, helping keep the rhythm on guitar and keeping the momentum going with witty banter.  Wayne spent the first 20 years of his adult life singing acapella, Doo-Wop.  In 2005 he traded his acapella group for a jazz guitar and studied for several years with Alex Specker.  He briefly played in a tuba band called, "John, Wayne and a Tuba" before becoming part of the Wayne Gottlieb Quartet, which became "The No-Good Doneys" and eventually "The Pelotones".  Wayne began writing original songs in 2011.  They're written to be an integral part of our Blues, R and B and Swing Jazz Repertoire.  Wayne realized that the Pelotones originals are the perfect outlet for his twisted sense of humor.
